It is with trembling hands that I write this post. I am absolutely ashamed, as a grown-ass woman, to say that I feel almost as excited as I did on Election Night 2008 to be typing the news: Morning Musume will be performing in the USA this year. 2009 is shaping up to be the red letter year to be a wota living in the USA…if you live on the West Coast. Being a Florida girl, it’s going to cost a pretty penny and a pretty vacation week for me to attend this thing, but don’t even get me wrong – I will do it.

Not only that, hey, it’s also an anime convention. A pretty damn nice anime convention, from what I’ve heard.

Maybe the Intl Wota crew can plan a meetup and panel at AX, now. Come on, guys, you know you want to.

Holy. Shit. Endless thanks to Hello!Online, who broke the news, and Shirow, who alerted me on Twitter.

I was pleased and a little bit humbled to see how many people actually listened to my stupid audio real time review of ‘Naichau Kamo’. Plus, it’s a very quick and easy way to churn out a review without having to worry about all the “<3″s and “omg”s in my LEGITIMATE WRITING. 9__9

I miss ‘Date Kouji Can’t Stop Crying’, the fangirl blog I effectively shut down when I left Livejournal. It’s not nostalgia reasons, so much, because Ashkta was my co-blogger there and it’s not like she went away or anything. It’s because sometimes you really just want to picspam the hell out of your friends and ogle celebrities. AMIRITE?

I was looking for random Miki Fujimoto photos tonight, and when I saw this photo I said, flatly: “This is the hottest thing I’ve ever seen.” Now, understand that my definition of attractive and sexy may be very different from yours. Don’t come to me asking if I’m into bunny bestiality or something, because that’s none of your business- I MEAN! – um, I mean, I just find domesticity really hot. Also I cannot deny that this photo bears a striking resemblance to my (knittin’) best friend, Gretchen. She is very sexy, actually. I just love Miki’s laughing face, her position, those LEGS.

Also she appears to be knitting a Rikkai team scarf. ^_^ IndigoSkies, I’ll take that high five now since you’re probably the only one who’ll appreciate that. Actually, Mikitty would be a total Rikkaidai supporter. Along with most of Artists Formerly Known as Elder Club, she seems the “win or you’re out of the family!” type.
