The pic that launched several dozen comments on picboard. See, I wasn't exactly a Risako fan even at the beginning of this year. But now? NOW? Now I realize that she was holding out on being a goofball with the rest of Berryz so that she could go the Sexbomb route.

Rii knows exactly what she's doing. And she's doing it extremely well. I am now a 100% fan.

MaiMai is one of those fortunate (or unfortunate?) idols who happens to actually look her age, if not younger. Somehow, her photobook struck me as...wrong in a few ways. But still, hey, I'm not gonna play hyprocrite in THIS post.

This picture particularly gave me a weird unsettled feeling. I am, however, (hang on, I'm totally distracted by the sexy Sherlock Holmes trailer on TV right now) ....okay, anyway, I'm jazzed by the vague illusion that she is throwing up the horns. Rock on.

Koharu graduated Morning Musume just in time to become a sexy, sexy beast, and I'm totally okay with that.

This year, Aibon returned to the entertainment world with a (probably literal) vengeance. Immediately this beautiful adult woman was called things and accused of proclivities that shouldn't be thrown out as lightly as they were. Her over-the-top photobook, 'FRIDAY' (lol), drew the most attacks from former fans and those clinging to the past.

Though she had been through a few scandals as a girl, to the point that UFA has basically disavowed any knowledge of her existence in H!P retrospectives (including the 2009 Coupling Collection), everyone seemed to be so SURPRISED and AFFRONTED that she would do something racy and scandalous. To me, the complainers were talking out of both sides of their mouths. I suppose it's okay to love Koharu in a bikini, but Kago being Kago is repugnant? Give me a break.

I'll admit that the nipple mummy is really strange, but it's kind of cool. She's an actress, after all, and obviously has a penchant for crazy shit. I'm glad that some of the wota community were able to hang up their hats on Kago without harping on her current choices. Me? I never was a rabid fan of hers, I just like the fact that she grew up and moved on, and doesn't need H!P to dictate her path in the entertainment industry.

When Delicious Cake grows up...well....okay, that's a walking Japanese euphemism, actually, so never mind. Kago, however, is still delicious. And pretty cool. Leave her alone already. And don't cry foul if Koharu does AV or something in the future. Wow. That would be sort of awesome.
